Why K-Guard?

PROTECT YOUR HOME WITH THE BEST GUTTER SYSTEM ON THE MARKET!

Strength, Durability, Capacity & Appeal

Strength

The K-Guard Leaf Free System is built around our patented, all weather high-strength polymer hangers. With this unique angled design the hangers are able to support vertical loads of 70 lbs. per hanger, and our hood can support 60 lbs. of pressure per square foot. The hangers are screwed thru the fascia board and into the rafter tails, set every 24 inches inside the gutter. These hangers fully support the front and back of the gutter/hood and keep the gutter from sagging or losing its form in any way.

Durability

The lifespan of the K-Guard system is practically unlimited. Made of heavy-duty aluminum, the base material will not corrode. The coatings on the gutter and hood will last over 20 years, and the patented hangers give our gutters the strength to withstand virtually any weather conditions.

Capacity

Due to its over-sized construction, the K-Guard System can handle more water than other, smaller systems. Our unique rear drainage channel increases water collection and protects your home from windblown rain that can cause fascia board damage. And because our gutters accommodate the larger 3×4-inch downspouts, the K-Guard Leaf Free System easily handles severe rain and flushes out any small pieces of debris that may occasionally enter the system.

Appeal

Most gutter systems have sharp corners and vertical faces, whereas K-Guard™ gutters’ smooth, curved appearance blends in effortlessly with your home. With a wide variety of colors available, you can find the perfect solution.

What about other products?

Gutter Toppers, Screens & Foam Inserts

Gutter toppers, screens and foam inserts are all aftermarket products that are fitted to your existing gutters. And while it may seem like a good idea to add something to your current gutter system, just keep in mind that they were not designed to accommodate additional hardware or weight. The thin material and lightweight hangers used with your installed gutter system may fail and lead to damage such as gutters sagging, pulling away from your home or becoming deformed. Furthermore, when screens or mesh toppers fill with debris, rainwater will overshoot and avoid entering the trough, thus defeating the purpose of gutters altogether.
